I appreciate this community's ability to make me question the integrity of every scope I owned & then proceed to beat the crap out of them. The major thing that persisted was having to constantly adjust a few clicks here and there (same load, same speed, same group size... the groups just keep f**kn moving).

Now the hate (more like slight dislike, just play along)...

I hate the desire to trust my systems with zero doubts.
I hate re-scoping yet another gun, lapping new rings, torquing more screws.
I hate the lack of sh*ts given, when yet, more money is thrown into this venture.

All that to say, y'all got me to try one of these bad boys out. I'm excited to see how they stack up with the rest of tubes. Oh, and thanks I think, but also damn you!

The super unofficial "scope interest" poll had just under 500 pre-order votes. I'd say selling 1310 preorders is pretty good!

Everyone else I've talked to about the scope is okay waiting til next year so they can see it in person.

1,000 scopes sold quickly on the first 2 pre orders seemed pretty damn successful in my eyes. I'm not sure if 1,000 scopes is a lot or not to a scope company. Google says ZT's annual is estimated at 5 million $. 1 million $ in 30 days seems impressive.

Id imagine there are quite a few more guys interested but are either A) not wanting to get them right before hunting season or B) the type that wants them available to ship immediately or C) waiting to see if they live up to expectations.

If they do well id imagine quite a few more will sell next year for that price point.

Something I've noticed being around self-made wealthy people, along with the better tradesmen and pros of different types I've spent time around, is they rarely screw around with trying to get the perfect deal, or figure it all out themselves if there are legit pros around to consult, or buy cheap $h*t that won't last. They don't screw around with iterations of half-assery. They ask great questions, they find out what excellent quality is, they move fast on a fair price, and they save themselves tremendous amounts of time, frustration, and repeated expenses. It's a success pattern.
