Apologies, missed that part!DA Nomad.
I’m more or less talking about a POI shift from mount to mount.
Direct to QD?
No worries.Apologies, missed that part!
If I remove for travel and remount the can multiple times, will my zero remain consistent? I.e. I take it off in the truck, put it on in the field, take it off in the truck, put it on at the house, etc. There’s going to be a zero shift with both. If anything having an adapter is likely to cause a larger shift because it adds more weight and length.
For me doing such has not had an impact on zero whether it be tbac cans with CB or my direct thread cans. The main reason I don’t like taking them on and off is that doing so can scrape some carbon loose and end up down your barrel. i pull the bolt and make sure no carbon ended up in the bolt face after screwing a can on.If I remove for travel and remount the can multiple times, will my zero remain consistent? I.e. I take it off in the truck, put it on in the field, take it off in the truck, put it on at the house, etc.
