Im beginning to acquire parts for a new build ive been wanting to do for a while. Does anyone on her have or have experience with a Zermatt SR3 action? This would be a medium action for a 6.5 PRC build. I have an Origin action on my 300 PRC and like it for the most part. If so, what are your thoughts and opinions vs other popular action choices out there? Thanks,

Ryan

I have a SR-3 short action in 6.5 PRC. 22" Proof SL in a Manners EH-6A, TT Diamond, LRHSi in M-10 rings. Hella good rig....

I have an SR3 short action and really like it. It worked great when running a Wyatt’s box in a traditional stock.

However, if I could do it all over again I would get the TL3. I moved over to a chassis on most of my guns.

The SR3 feed ramp isn’t notched and is pretty limiting when running longer cartridges through a magazine.

Thanks for the feedback. My plan was to run 156 Bergers out of it, using a medium action. If I was planning on using a Hawkins Hunter DBM would you assume the TL3 is the best route? I called Zermatt today couldnt get through to anyone.

I would assume the tl3 is a better option for running a magazine. Zermatt customer service is top notch so I imagine they closed down for the holidays or something.
