I've used it with my 6.5cr and it's been dead on all the way out to 1100 yards.

That would be the Leica's you're thinking of. The Zeiss RF's give a drop correction as far as you can get a range.

They are rated to 2500 yards, but I've gotten 2748 on these before. In good conditions, off a white building.
