If you have a Zeiss V4 6-24x50, I need a favor please. What is the measured length of the main center tube in mm between the eye piece and objective? Thanks. 4F14228D-E2D1-470E-BAD4-C1D0C0FC1274.jpeg

The 4x16 is about 5 1/2"
Thanks. I have the 4-16x44 on another rifle, but the 6-24x50 specs say total overall length is a little longer. Probably splitting hairs, but I’m scoping a Cooper & trying to avoid a pic rail but it’ll be close/limited eye relief movement w/o one if I use the 4-16x44. I might go ahead & get the 6-24x50 which has mostly the plan for awhile anyway.

Mine is measuring at 5.45" or 138.4mm
Thanks! 👍

Edit: So, apparently the main tube length is confirmed pretty much the same on both the 4-16 & 6-24. Not going to make a difference for me in choice of scope mounting setup. With the Cooper supplied 2 piece pic bases, rings would be at max set-apart with no ability to adjust eye relief position. It might even not fit if the rings push closer to the eye piece & objective. Looks like a new pic rail will have to be used. Thanks.
