I've looked at the 10x40s and really liked them. I'm primarily a whitetail tree stand hunter in the Midwest, but am considering buying the 10x50s given their physical size similarities to many 10x42s. Is it worth the extra 6 ounces and half inch in length or should I just enjoy the weight savings in the 40s?
