My Michigan Whitetail rifle (Winchester Model 70 Extreme Weather MB) currently has the Vortex Razor HD LHT 3-15x42 on it. I do really like it, however im likely never going to use the full 15x here in MI. I typically see 150-250 yard shots max, and I mainly leave it on 10x or less.
Enter the other options! I Just acquired a Zeiss Conquest V4 3-12 that I think might be a perfect fit for this rifle. I do really like the illuminated reticle on the Razor though.
Additionally, I have a Nightforce SHV 3-10, but that is currently on my Mark V 300 win mag in preparation for my MT elk hunt this year. That scope COULD also be swapped to the 308 after my trip to Montana.
I know these are all good choices and it really isn’t a big deal, but I’m curious on what some of you would do!
(Also going to get rid of the scope caps on the razor. I was fooled into buying expensive ones and I hate them lol!)
