Has anybody out here had their older Zeiss conquests retrofitted with an elevation turret from Kenton? Just got an email they are offering this again. Cost is about $200 and you have to send them your scope.

I have a couple of 3-9x’s (which I still think was one of the best sub $600 scopes made) that I want to send in - not that they are super long range scopes, but even shooting at a 400 yards it would be nice to dial to a distance instead of guessing.Just curious for those that have done it specifically on the 3-9x, How far did one rotation get you and has it worked well or not?

Is your turret not marked in moa? Or is it that generic low profile with just hash marks? You can count the click marks on it, that's how much MOA you'll get. If it's a 12 MOA adjustment, then one turn on the Kenton turret will get you 12 MOA unless it's got a zero stop built in, then it'll be a bit less.

Everyone is going to tell you to NOT get a specific load turret, but if you look at trajectories out to 500 or 600 yards, most loads with the same weight bullets or bullets going the same speed are pretty damn close to each other, and the wind drift is usually a bigger factor than the elevation.

I did it several years ago on mine. Works fantastic. Mine is just an MOA so I can build different dope charts accordingly. I have dialed my 7mm Rem Mag to 800-900 yards and the scope always worked. Me on the other hand? Well that was the one variable that seemed to not always be tuned perfectly. Lol
