Has anyone compared the Baltoro Lite against the Thunder Pro? Looking for a little lighter but still capable boot that I can wear around the house/town but still hunt with. The baltoro lites have been on my radar for a while but unfortunately I don't have anywhere to try them on. Thanks!

I have not worn the Baltoro Lite but I have been wearing the Thunder Pros lately. They would most likely fit the bill you're talking about.

Here is the thread I have been keeping up - https://rokslide.com/forums/threads/zamberlan-thunder-pro-pre-review.448493/

That thread is what put them on my radar. Still liking them?
Yeah I am, just did a scouting trip with them this last weekend. A Solid steep climb right away (2550' in about 3 miles) and 10.5 miles round trip. If they were going to cause issues or destroy my feet, this would have been the hike.

Brock, any experience with the Sierra model? Seems like a good medium flex option that I'm considering.

I want to like zamberlans but they are not for my feet so take my experience with a grain of salt.

The baltoros felt great up to the point of actually walking. They had a pressure point just above the heel that nearly bruised my Achilles area whenever I’d walk any incline/decline.

I bought the Thunder pros a few months ago and did the fit test in the house and they didn’t feel great just wearing them in my house so I sent them down the road.

Again, my feet are bitches and I have super bony heels so take or leave my experience I still think they make a great boot.
