I bought these boots for a potential mountain boot and used on 3 or 4 flat land grouse hunts to start the break-in. The BOA lacing system is slick as heck. The problem I have is that my foot is a super narrow A width. I am finding the only way I can get a boot to work for climbing is to do some exotic lacing techniques. The BOA doesn't allow this. Love these boots but must let go. If you have a standard C-D foot you will like these. Just bought some Hanwags that run narrow.
I use custom orthotics so will install the new take-out Hanwag insoles in these. Excellent condition
$400 boots, $225.00 TYD

I have a nice pair of Irish Setter light hunters 11.5 I would toss in on Zams. Also too wide for my geek feet.

As I’ve aged my feet have stretched to a 12+ in last few years. These would be perfect for 11.5 I believe as I can wear them without toe strike but wouldn’t dare take to mountains.
