Youth Hunting Clothes

Anyone have favorite affordable kids hunting clothing?

My 8 year old called in two bulls with sweatpants this year, but I was hoping to get him something a bit better for a javelina hunt this winter. I love the Wrangler ATG pants from Walmart, but haven't seen any in kids sizes. Kuiu is a bit out of our budget. He wears a size 8 right now.

If camo isnt really needed just layer up like you would going in the outdoors. Snow cloths work great when its cold, Both my kids have a cheap puffy to layers too.

If you need camo get a leafy Jacket and layer overtops said layers.

We've used kings camo, scheels, and sportsmans warehouse brands for my kids. They're less expensive than kuiu, but not cheap. I'll watch for sales to help out. We have two boys and a girl so they pass them down. We've also used Costco athletic clothes.

My kids wear Redhead silent hide jacket and bibs, around $100 for the set. Also have silent stalker coveralls for colder hunts, around $150. All from bass pro/cabelas.
Also have picked up kuiu items on their outlet page.

Natgear has some great youth clothes at reasonable prices. If you’re not in a hurry they will run sales…I think they usually do a Black Friday sale. All of my kids have been wearing them for several years and I’ve been really happy with everything I’ve gotten from them.

Check out bassdash. I bought a pair of their pants for my son to turkey hunt and they held up great. I bought myself a couple shirts and some pants and after seeing the quality, I don’t see the point in spending two or three times as much for designer camo.

I’ve killed and been apart of dozens and dozens of Javalina kills. Everyday wear jeans work great.

My boys do have puffy pants to slip over them for the cold mornings and static sits, I’d probably spend the money on some type of warmth layer over their jeans rather than “hunting” pants.

Following becuse my kiddo will outgrow his Kuiu set by next season that i bought when they were blowing out the youth line for mega cheap 3 years back or so. Bummed out the new line is horridly expensive. I regret not picking up couple different sizes.
