I am soon to have a rifle built and am considering my stock options. The last three have been built with Manners stocks. I like them. I really like carbon stocks over fiberglass. I have recently started to look at Foundation stocks, but know next to nothing about them. I am considering a sporter rifle in a 280 AI, but that is subject to change. I would appreciate some information regarding what you like or don’t like about your stock. Thanks.

I've had / have a few from McM, AG and Manners.

My current favorite is the Manners Pro Hunter, but it does cost a little more than then the others two. But if trying to say a little coin any of the above plus a few others will certainly work. I'm thinking of trying a CF vertical grip from Stockeys on a 6 creed build in the near future to save a little.

I'm a McMillan guy personally. I have A5s on both of my target rifles. No complaints at all.

Foundation stocks are not lightweights. So for a sporter rifle it might not be what you are after. Mcmillan Mountain Tracker LR has my attention for my next rifle.

I can’t tell form the web photos if I like the pro hunter or not. They should post photos of the thing from all angles. Both sides, top and bottom ugh

On the pro hunter, I would lose some weight because I would likely take off the integrated tripod mount within - 1 to 3 seconds of it leaving the shipping container.

I love my manners LRH. I have the McMillan game warden and game hunter stocks, they are nice but definitely not Manners.

Might be the McMillan Edge fill but I can’t stand the hollow feel that the Mcmillans have. Manners is more $ but I think they’re worth it. The Pro Hunter with an adjustable cheek piece like the LRH would be just about perfect. I also like their new Pro Pack Folder but it’s $$$$$. My only complaint for the LRH is why they didn’t integrate the pic rail like they did on the PH?

The foundations stocks look very interesting. They’ve been getting weights down on them which should increase the amount of people willing to use them for hunting.

I was one of the backers for the Tikka inlet project version of this stock. I have to say that the more I use it the more it grows on me.

I really like the negative comb and the relatively flat toe line. It does take some getting used to if you spent a bunch of years shooting Monte Carlo type stocks like I did, but it is akin to having to get rid of bad habits that built up. Things like squeezing the rear bag, rather than moving it (or the gun) back and forth for small elevation changes, just to name one.

It is nice and lightweight, even with the ARCA and Pic, which I do use with my tripod quite a bit, so there is that. @WVELK, I assume you don't shoot off of a tripod, but with this stock and the Manners, they are attached in such a way that they really don't get in the way and if you ever do decide to shoot off a tripod, they are great.

You hit a lot of my key questions. I too looked at the McMillian Game Warden, but did not know they felt substantially differently.

I do like an adjustable cheek piece too and agree it would be great on the Pro Hunter. I am not 100 percent sold on the bottom of the pro hunter. Maybe I would like it. Not sure.
