"... in Canada. That is not a right you have, either in the constitution or anywhere else."

These words spoken by Trudeau. Unreal.

but they keep voting him in so they deserve whatever they get
People need to change that way of thinking. The same thing they say about CA, NY, NJ, MD etc... You can't blame the ones that don't want their rights stripped away.

Many folks don't want to just leave the state they have grown up and lived their entire lives in. Many of those folks are breaking the "law" to continue to live there and as people from free states we really should be supporting them when we can. What happens in those states will eventually spread to the rest of them.

they vote knowing their right will eventually be stripped away
how long has it been going on in ny.ca.nj.md etc but yet they keep voting the same people into office hoping this time it will be different
but it never is
when something isn't working you figure out a way to fix it not turn up the radio to block it out hoping it goes away or changes
same thing with canada trudeau has made it clear his intentions when he first took office but the majority just keep voting for party instead of on the issues and where the candidate stands
sorry but my give a damn is busted

They have the right to self defense but doesn't say with what "item" they can use to do so. Heard this from a canadian being interviewed on Newsmax. It's in their "constitution".

I Checked out a Canadian legal outfit called, What the Law. In the blog section self protection is covered. Canadian law does not have a stand your ground rule. If you have to use force to defend yourself, you must be in fear of great bodily harm, and then you are only allowed to use enough force as the situation demands. It matters not what weapon you use, knife, gun, bat, whatever. If you cause someone harm in defense of yourself, you are required to contact a defense attorney as soon as possible or you may be in violations of other Canadian laws. Bottom line Canadian self protection laws are ambiguous at best.

So it is in the Canadian constitution?

There is no right to bear arms in the Canada constitution.

Consider this: this also means you do not have the right to protect your family or neighbors with a firearm either. See a deranged maniac beating an old lady? Just walk on, grab your phone and call the Mounties.

So his statement was accurate.

The people that vote for these types in California aren't complaining about Trudeau, they are applauding him. Imagine being less than a 1/4 of the population as a conservative then tell me exactly how our votes can even begin to effect change.
