Yes, another bino harness thread

Love everything about the marsupial bino harness, except for the digging discomfort in my neck. You can see the 2 spots on both sides that mess w my neck. I cannot be the only one w this issue. Hunting season is no problem as you usually have other clothes or a hoody that helps. Summer tshirt weather and its a pain. Is there a way to adjust the harness for a wider fit at the shoulders? Is there another harness that fits wider that I should be looking at?

So in anyone's trials with bino harnesses, did you come across one with a wider yoke? Before I go hacking this Marsupial apart to make it work.

Before you try cutting it apart loosen the straps that go to the top of the harness and then tighten the waist straps. That can help achieve what you want.
Essentially it get the yoke to ride a bit lower on your back and gives it more room to flare around your neck.

I didn't like the yoke on my marsupial either. Love my eberlestock recon though.

Thanks for the tip. This might work. I've lowered it a little bit, and that looks like it will help. I prefer it up higher at my chest, but I'll try to find a happy medium. If it ever stops raining in PA, I need to shoot my bow w it in the lower position and make sure it'll work.

Two things, first is have you done a buckle delete on your marsupial? That could maybe help some?

Second, Kifaru has a new mesa harness that looks like it may help. I’d be curious if anyone has run this yet and feedback.
