Does anyone here have any experience/ load data for the Leigh defense Xtreme penetrators for 10mm? I ordered a box and can’t decide a powder to try for them. Im looking for any insights or recommendations. I was going to try blue dot but as I did some research I can’t really find any due stock issues. Trying to load it for self defense while out hunting for me and my father. Thanks in advance!!

I have loaded Accurate #7 with good results on 180 gn Hornady projectiles. I bought a pound of CFE pistol to try as well, but have not loaded any as of yet.
I’ve been thinking about using the #7 how do you like it as far as the burn? Is it a clean burn?

I’ve noticed it leaves powder residue on the lighter loadings but seems to clean up as you’re approaching max.

Something to consider in your loads as well, if these are the all copper bullets I’ve seen, they are long and will take up more case volume than standard lead. That will make pressures higher. A few test rounds fired over a chronograph and looking for pressure signs would get you an idea where you need to go on them.

Have you contacted the bullet manufacturer to see if they have any load data?

Yes they have load data for #7 ,9 and I believe 4 just wasn’t sure what one to try first

AA#9 and Longshot have been my go-tos for 180gr loads in 10mm. I’ve wanted to try #7 as well. Post results when you have them!

I've loaded AA #9 for the 190 grain monometals in 10mm, and it works fine. Contact them for load data and start low and go slow.
