XTL Lid and Nomad

Anyone else having buckle compatibility issues with the XTL female and Nomad male end? Did Kifaru changer hardware on the XTL at some point? I think i'm going to just cut off the XTL female and add the quick repair version to make it work..........or pursue the g-hook maybe.

I had a similar issue, your fix is the way to go. I prefer buckles for the lid versusu g-hooks personally.

Personally, I like the g-hooks/k connector conversion. I have my BT2 converted to them and really like it. My grab it and longhunter lid are both converted. All of those attach loops sewn into the nomads back panel are quickly used with the k connectors. I received my nomad a week ago and converted the 2 center straps before I even started messing around with the pack. Really like the pack

I find myself getting down from my tree stand after dark. With SR buckles it's easy. I like the idea of G-hooks but wonder how they work in the cold and dark. I've converted my grab-it though.
