I don’t shoot the ones I have, but I don’t have a home protection “ rifle”. I was watching videos of the genesis 12 ar 12 gauge, that with the 10 1/2 “ barrel , holy smokes that thing rocks. And if white walkers ever get over the wall or we have to deal with zombies this is what I want ! It would be cool to get for Christmas, but won’t happen.

I want some kind of semi custom 10/22 platform. Selling a barreled model 52 action that I never got around to doing anything with. Might grab a tx1 to play with too...also looking for a 243 for my son, maybe a weatherby camilla or youth model vanguard.

Not hunting with rifles for over 20 years has cured my hankering to own everything, that said I still have a couple handfuls left.

Most likely going to pick up another handgun, buck mark or something like that and will buy my usual bow or two that ends up getting sold ....

I'm looking for a lighter rifle in general because I'm tired of lugging my bull barrel 308 around. Its fine for Nebraska whitetails, muleys, and coyote control, but I want to go west next year and don't want to carry it long distances. Christiansen Mesa, Savage Ultralight, Bergara Premier. Something in that range is what I'm after. luckily, they seem to be around due to price point.
On the positive note though, that bicep burn from carrying a heavy rifle all day, keeps the arms ripped lol..... or shoulder carry some distance like a m240 when the armored didn’t have a sling and the arms are burnt out from the carrying handle lol

If I could swing it I’d build a 20” 6.5PRC on a defiance anti action and drop it into an XLR magnesium chassis with a foldable stock topped with an NX8 2-20. I really want a gun just for deer hunting and I think this would be about perfect.
Lets make it happen!! Let us know if you have any questions on the different configurations. Those 20" 6.5 PRC builds have been really popular and killer all around rifle. 92356958_2714956895299654_7584811068191408128_o.jpg

Christmas firearms? Savage 99 in 7mm-08, .243 or .358 Winchester. Winchester 88 in .243 or .284. A good make Springfield 03A3 in .35 Whelen.

To name a few. I've got DGR's and LR's covered. I'm in fun gun collecting mode right now.

Sig Cross in 6.5CM. Probably couldn't shoot better than my Tikka, but it looks really cool and adjustable.

What’s everyone looking at, lately I’ve been on a dangerous game/safari rifle kick
I got the old lady a ruger american compact in 7mm-08 for an early Christmas present, it's a tack driver so far. Picked Bristol up a pink keystone crickett .22 that's guna be from Santa Claus.
I'm not sure what I'm buying myself yet lol. Maybe a chassis for the RUM.

Thinking about a 338mxlr for Christmas, but seeing how there was less than 2500 made before they were discontinued when Remington bought Marlin chances are slim, so might settle for a Remington 7600 in 35 Whelan
