Definitely doable. Even with the vortex tank.

Its a badass optic tho!Definitely doable. Even with the vortex tank.
No argument here! I had a gen 2 and loved it. Only reason I traded it was because the mark 5 is so much lighter. I like the vortex better thoughIts a badass optic tho!Sometimes you gotta make sacrifices!
If NF would made the new NX6 4-24 in ffp at 27oz, would been the perfect nrl hunter scope. But they didn't do it, likely it'd taken over several models of their current lineup: 4-20, 5-25, 4-32.No argument here! I had a gen 2 and loved it. Are you really seeing that much difference between a 22 and 24' for NRL?Defiance classic lightweight, 22in ace Sp3 in 65cm, abel theorem S w/ recoilX comp brake, ckyepod with r3d carbon legs, 4-24 razor gen3.
12# 4oz.
Did swap out to a lil lighter grip and oem recoil pad for this photo, saved 4oz.
Chunky glass at 32.5oz, def lighter options out there. Could cut 4oz on the optics easily and get the extra barrel length needed. I'd run a 24in for NRL no matter what.

Depending on how heavy of a bullet you shoot, with a 22” you may need to lean on it pretty hard to make power factor with a 140 grain so most guys go 24” for a little bit of safety margin. Are you really seeing that much difference between a 22 and 24' for NRL?
Yes I was thinking that exact setup actually - 22 + 140. Will have rethink that I guess.Depending on how heavy of a bullet you shoot, with a 22” you may need to lean on it pretty hard to make power factor with a 140 grain so most guys go 24” for a little bit of safety margin.
Depends on how slow you want to run your bullet, or how fast. With a 24in barrel it's not high psi to run 144s at mid to low 2700s. Can run the 153-156 bergers low 2600s too. Go to a 22in tube, and it takes near a full grain more powder to get that velocity back. 26in is even better but you start getting into some weight. 750 taperless at 26in would likely be around 3.5#, maybe less idk.Are you really seeing that much difference between a 22 and 24' for NRL?
