XLR chassis on a savage ultralite?

has anyone put their savage ultralite in the XLR element chassis? i want to order one, but was curious if the barrel contour on the carbon barrel would be a problem, thanks... only thing i don't like about the ultralite is the flimsy stock, and a lot of people use my rifle in a year, so i figured a chassis was also an easy way to make it fit others well, and since i can go that route without much weight penalty, i want to.

Our chassis accepts up to 1.250-inch barrels so you will be just fine! The chassis is a huge upgrade to the factory stock for rigidity and accuracy!
great, thanks! i'm going to get an order in tonight or tomorrow morning, and i 100% agree with you, especially for me having a lot of ladies and youth shooting my rifle, it will be beneficial to me to be able to fit the rifle to them better.... and i'm looking forward to it as well.

new stock and glass this year, and hopefully a suppressor next year

They are super beneficial for the precision fitment of anyone! You will most likely see an accuracy gain from the factory stock to the chassis just due to the proper fitment that you will achieve! Let us know if you have any questions with ordering and you can always give us a call to make sure that you are getting all the correct accessories for your shooting needs!

I’ll keep you posted I’m about to order one for my savage 110 ultralight 300wsm. Going to go with the element 4.0 magnesium. Carbon grip carbon folding stock. Now just to choose a color. I’m wanting to do some more load development but I don’t see the point until I get rid of this crappy non bedded factory stock. Not many options out there and I didn’t want to spend the money on a xlr. But after I do the gun will be fitted to its highest potential.

30.06 Ultralight mounted on the Element 4 with a folder. EC Tuner Brake V1. Shot single holes…. Easy to carry in CO hills. XLR was great to deal with and will continue to strongly recommend them.
