It's not a featherweight but around 8.
Need to get through holidays at inlaws then hopefully break it in on a coyote.

You can't afford to not get the SA with the current sale!
Do you use a bipod with them and if so what's your setup?

When on the bench I run the atlas with the 419 arca adapter. When I hunt, I do not take the bipod, I use my pack or tress. My areas give me that luxury.

Yea, I went ahead and ordered it- saved like $300. That was enough to justify it for a future gun like a 6mm in some form.

8 with a scope is respectable. I think that’s a real world everyday build weight.

I hunt in a fair bit of scrub oak, it's not Alder but it's not fun either. So the compactness was more my goal.

No problem... I decided on the 6 GT, and have the components for pew pew on order. The barreled action request is in as well. I went all black.
