You said these were too big. Did they just tend to run larger than normal XL? I have between the 36 and 37 inch waist. Just curious if these would be too big.

I apologize, I said they were the wrong size not too big. I wear a 38-40 waist depending on the brand. Being that these are rain pants to go over top of your regular pants they run a little too small on me. So a 36/37 waist should fit just right for these over top of your pants or as a standalone pant. These technically fit me now at a larger size just more snug than I like. Hope that helps, willing to deal with you a bit if you're interested.
