X-Bolt 6.5 PRC

Just got my X-Bolt 6.5 PRC ready to go. Has a 1:7 twist. Just curious for those that have shot the fast twist Brownings did yours prefer the heavier grain projectiles? Know not all guns are the same but just looking for starting points before buying a few loads to try

Both factory loads I’ve tried in my x-bolt 6.5 PRC- 147gr eldm and Norma whitetail 140 grain - grouped around .75 moa. Good luck.

Appreciate the feedback. I have some Barnes Harvest 145GR’s with the Sierra TGK bullet to try out first. Hoping mine isn’t super picky.

Mine likes the Hornady 143 ELD-X. But if using a ballistic solver, make sure you have a chrono reading of the actual speed because X-Bolt Speeds mostly run 1-7" twists and the factory ammo assumed 1-8"

Mine is the X-Bolt Speeds (pre-Gen 2).

I get sub-MOA on most ammo I put through it but the ELD-X will often keyhole.
