Hey everyone, I’m finalizing my plans for a Wyoming Region J deer hunt this year and am looking to connect with others who have been there. I’m currently deep in the research phase—gearing up, studying maps, and looking at general logistics.

I’m definitely not looking for anyone’s secret honey holes or specific waypoints. I’m just looking to get a better feel for the region’s dynamics. If you’ve hunted Region J before, I’d love to hear your take on the terrain or any 'lessons learned' regarding areas to avoid or common pitfalls for a first-timer. I'd rather learn from others' experiences than find out the hard way on the ground.

Also, if you’re heading out there this year or have experience in the region, I’d love to trade notes or discuss general gear and strategy. Feel free to shoot me a message

Any help in figuring out what roads you are allowed to take would be awesome aswell, as i understand there are a lot of access issues with the public land in the area.
