Wyoming outfitter for 2027

I am looking for an outfitter for a mule deer hunt in 2027 or 2028 that I can use as a precursor to a general season elk hunt when points allow. Don’t mind if it’s from a lodge or wilderness camp just want an outfit I can be confident in to burn 4-5 points and not regret it. I will have 2-3 deer points when applying which may be another issue.

A buddy and I hunted with Table Mtn Outfitters in eastern Wy on a pronghorn hunt about 10 years ago. It worked out fine. Others in camp also hunted and were successful on mule deer, and they also offer elk hunts. Scott and Angie have a lot of clients so don't expect to become best friends, but we found them to be competent and honest.

I’ve heard of them a few times. Boulder Basin seems to be mentioned often as well. I’m looking for a balance of actually trophy potential and actually being able to draw a tag before I die.

How many Elk points do you have ?

I have 1 for each, but since outfitters are booking out 4-5 years and requiring 4-5 points at least for elk in their areas I’m just to trying start getting things in line. I have points in Colorado and Montana so there will be other trips in the mix while I wait, but building a decade of points doesn’t really seem fun to me
