Wyoming mulies, any luck yet.

I am not lookig for a 180 buck (would be nice, and would not pass him up) just want too try for a representive 3x3 or a fork, hope all the open hunting land guys have run them over on the ranch we will be hunting, also I would not pass a big white tail up but he is going too have too be a hog. Good luck.
Hunting on a ranch I would at least hold out for a representative 4x4 for the first few days of the hunt.
Good luck and enjoy WY. It’s an amazing state.

Heading out Thursday, staying at a friends and hunting his corn/alfalfa/bean fields, hunting out of a combine should be interesting.

Anyone else a little nervous about the road conditions this coming week in the bighorns? Man that forecast got rough in a hurry!

I spent 5 days in the high country out of a backpack in the area I hunt every year. I hate to be that guy, but I’ve seen deer numbers and quality go down consistently for the past 5-6 years. I’ve always said I like harvesting old deer, regardless of score. On day four I had to put my money where my mouth was, as no 170 or better type bucks had been spotted. I don’t know how old this guy is yet, but he had a 25” cape, which according to my taxidermist is gigantic for this time of year. I don’t plan on mounting him, but his cape was too pretty to hack up.

748 yards one and done with a 156 Berger out of my PRC. He made some good summer sausage anyway!

Stuck here in a hotel in Gillette. I only have today and tomorrow to get it done.

Going to try to make it out to whatever public chunks I can
