Hey, all. Longtime browser, first time poster. Looking over region J, there are obviously elevation changes - as common amongst most of the state. When it comes to mule deer in this region, or any similar region, is their behavior (or my strategy as a hunter), that drastically different than say the rolling hills areas of WY or even Western Nebraska (or the like)?
I guess my question boils down to, would you hunt the foothills that much different than the higher elevation hunts? While the terrain differs, does the strategy? To a degree where it's like two completely different hunts.
Never hunted Mule Deer in WY and looking forward to it this year or next. Wanted to get the conversation started! Thanks all!
