Good day fellow hunters. Well, life had dealt me some cards and the majority of them have played out so it’s now time to do some of those hunts that I had been planning. The good point is that with my moose points, I could draw any area in Wy. When i first started applying it was going to be in the snowy mountains or West of Saratoga. I was a resident and younger then and it was going to be a diy hunt with couple buddies. Now it appears I may be by myself so I can basically go anywhere in the state since I will more than likely using guide services. Archery would be a hoot but not against a rifle hunt either. Horseback or ranch setting is good as well. Looking for unit recommendations or even a guide if you used one on a previous hunt. You can dm directly if you don’t want it publicly know. Thanks for your help. Hoping to do some scouting this year to help make my selection. I scouted Snowys last year.

I tossed 20 points away for wife when they cut the tags and changed everything. Im glad I cashed mine in the few years before.A guided moose hunt in WY will cost at least what a hunt in Canada will cost.

I hear you, however the last 10 years have been a life roller coaster with parents having cancer, dementia and losing all our elderly relatives. Finally to a point where I can make some sort of a plan and commitment without worrying.

I hunted with barlow but it was more of a town hunt.I haven't heard much from Muleshoe outfitters lately. Do you get the yearly WY outfitters book?

I did, but was looking to chat with some real experience mode hunters and their thoughts since it’s basically a once in lifetime hunt. Pass some knowledge along and what you would do differently on a second trip if possible.
