My dad and I have 7 wy points that we are hoping to use this season. We have a few units in mind but am looking for input on our plans. In an effort to avoid put areas on blast, if anyone is open to talking about available hunts in this point range feel free to PM me.

7 points combined or each per person ?

Looking for what… any deer? Good scenery? Good weather? Good access? Flat land….

Looking for mature deer, not necessarily score. We are both are experienced and successful buck hunters. Very accustomed to hunting rugged terrain and backpacking.

Region H was are first choice but after this winter and looking for an area where the winter kill may not have been as bad.

H still might be your best bet. Going to take 4 years to recovery from the deer kill in the areas hit hard.,

You may have missed the deadline to apply for licenses to hunt this season. Might want to check that.

May 31 is the deadline as it always is for nr deer and antelope

How would area 78 compare to the Region H hunt? This is an area I could likely draw as well. Seems like it may be hard to get away from the roads since as a NR I wouldn’t be hunting the wilderness…
