Wyoming hunting partner

Have 9 points going into next year...anyone plan on hunting region G next year or two thats hunted it before...looking for a hunting partner...open to other areas too...welcome to pm me.

Don't do it. Deer numbers in Wyoming are incredibly low, and between over harvest, bad winter kill and CWD you will most likely have a disappointing hunt. not saying their isn't nice deer left in region G or elsewhere in Wyoming for that matter, but I personally would not cash out my 9 point to go hunt an area where many resident experienced mule deer hunter struggled to turn up mature bucks. if you do decide to go hamper your expectations and go for the experience not to kill a trophy buck, Wyoming is a shadow of what it once was.

I appreciate the input...I have some buddies that cashed in 10 points on another unit, had a good hunt, but were dissapointed in the quality of bucks...may try to draw a secend choice to get a hunt in...I have an antelope and elk hunt to draw there in the next couple years so I may wait and see how things go...thanks again

Antelope and Elk numbers are much better, not that we don't have mule deer, just not going to be the quality of hunt your looking for after a 10 year wait.
