Wyoming elk hunting

I am new to this sight and am looking for any advice or help in elk in Wyoming. I have 12 points and am planning on drawing next fall. Just started gathering information there. I have hunted in other western states but haven't drew an elk tag yet in WY. Any information would be appreciated. I don't plan on returning to the Unit because I'm getting to old to apply again for years. Thanks Dan

Be careful what you ask for online. Too much publicity of a unit and you won’t be hunting there at all this fall. Tons of info out there on 16 that you can research discretely. A few members here have hunted it recently. Track them down and send a PM would be my recommendation. Good luck!

Thanks I think you are right, looked at Wyoming sight and they show different points than the one I looked at. Guess I will be looking at a different unit. Dan

No I didnt have enough points so I drew. Shot a nice 5 by 5 with my bow.
