I’m thinking about applying this year; I would want the hunt near Jackson because I live 2 hours away. Any tips, stories, or advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I wouldn’t unless you are only applying for Bull tag. I had a tag this past year for a cow. It was a nightmare. Feel free to pm if you want specific details or have specific questions.

A friend of ours got hers recently. I think it’s a lot more difficult of a hunt thenWhat you might think it is. Once word gets out the herds crossing over its a mad dash to get one. Not my ideal hunt.

I don’t think it’s even on the radar but if a non resident could get a unit 3 tag that’d be once I a lifetime hunt.
