Wyoming antelope draw

My brother in law, 2 nieces and me drew unit 72. I think our average was 7.5 points. Excited to get out and hunt! We drew regional deer tags also, so hopefully we can find some better bucks than we did last time we hunted this region tag.

Do you really want to go to a point system for residents? Be like AZ or UT and not be able to hunt in your own state for 5yrs or more?
Absolutely! But there are better ways than straight draws with points. Even a straight draw point system would provide more opportunity for many and equal distribution of said opportunity.

5 years, hell if I only had to wait 5 years to hunt pronghorn I would be elated!

Everyone with an equal chance at drawing the tag is now considered inherently unfair?? I can't even try to understand the rationale... your trolling ability is strong but basic comprehension is lacking a bit, Fetty!
It is... the variability of outcomes makes it unbelievably unfair. That is how probability works.
Get deep into how Wyoming conducts its draw and it raises many suspicions of the true randomness...
Wyomings draw is absolute trash, but that being said we have great general tag options. It is just sad that many invest decades into a draw (for relatively easy tags) and come up empty handed. While others, often not even meeting resident requirements draw said tags.
I am speaking for the people. There is a bounty of resources in this state and the opportunity is being distributed very unjustly. There are better ways, not what other states do. New ways.
I have nothing to complain about. I have sheep, goat, bison, many 350 plus bulls... not to mention the countless bucks.
People are getting shafted... if you think the system is fine you are dillusional.
I am not said person, as I have been more fortunate than most. To the point I feel like this is not the perfect system... better than many, but far from perfect.
As more move here to take advantage of our resources and populations eb and flow the draw is getting messy. Change is not always so bad... it is time for change, so we can get ahead of the big changes coming. Proactive not reactive.
