Wyo Type 8

Unlike last year it appears that the Type 8 tag will be available on the application for some hunt areas in the SE.
I don't understand if they are unlimited again. (non-resident)
Anyone heard of changes for 2025?

Update: talked to the GF. Yes, they are still unlimited. Can be purchased over the counter or this year online in the application process. GF rep said buying OTC saves application fee but having the tag in hand might be worth it if you get to hunt area at night. She said they have to list a quota number for the tag but it is irrelevant since it's unlimited.

Now I need to check on the application fee and see if it went thru the roof for NR.

Not all are private only at this time. Just "off national forest" so state and BLM land is ok.
Some areas are actually closed

App fee change is a ways away and would take affect July 1 if it passes.

Tentative quotas come out 3rd week in March.
