Wyo makes additional cuts to pronghorn

Seen a ton of them driving to ID, depends on the area, but a few areas we went through they looked good. Western side looked bad last year so probably worse now as we didn’t see much but it was getting late.

It’s really quite sad, pronghorn numbers in Western WY have been terrible for the last 25 years. I remember when they thought a conservative population estimate was 2 million for the state. It sure seemed like it. Going out hunting and seeing 40 to 50 in almost every herd.

They will come back but a fraction of what they were a few years ago. And that will be the new normal.
