I have a Wyatts box installed on my current rifle. In doing some research it looks like the receiver and bolt get altered for the extended box and not the stock at all. If this is correct, can I change stocks without having any issues?

It depends on the stock and which Wyatt’s box you have installed. I don’t think any stock
Will fit the 4” Wyatt’s box without modifying but most of the other smaller boxes probably will. I have several rifles with Wyatt’s box magazines and have not had problems finding stocks to fit

I think thats sound right, I have 2 short action builds with the Wyatts box and had no issues with the stocks when the rifles where built. Both rifles have a Proof stock but they didn't appear to be inlet any different to fit the Wyatts.

In my experience on the short actions the stock doesn't need any additional modification. Depending on the action you may need to notch the feed ramp (im in process of doing that on my origin) and on some actions the bolt may need to be modified too.

i have a 338 edge with the wyatt box mag, i bought an ag composite stock and I let them know before they did the inlett. Not sure if they had to do anything different but it fit perfect.
