Hey everybody, in a bit of a conundrum.
As life goes, I got caught up in the hustle and bustle of things. My buddy and I applied for the same units in the same order on special draw. Both tags came in and when I glanced at the app I saw unit 7 type 2. What I didn’t realize is that my buddy drew the unit 7 tag we were both after but I drew a type 1 in unit 8. I’m hoping someone in here can help me out with a trespass fee or a ranch I can talk to about hunting sometime in January so my tag doesn’t go to complete waste. I fully plan on committing to my buddy’s hunt in December but would love to not have dropped $2k on nothing. I am fully aware that I messed up not paying enough attention to the tag that got delivered to me, just looking for some help or a point in the right direction. Thanks guys!
