WY Elk Unit 86

Just found out I drew a leftover cow/calf license in unit 86. It was listed as a "hard to access" unit but I am reading otherwise.
- Does anyone have experience in this unit?
- Anyone else going/willing to take me in?
- Worth it to pay a guide?
- Probability to run into Griz?

You can kill a cow there just depends on you. Grizzly run in would be unlikely.

I had that same tag last year. That unit is like 99 percent public. Access is super easy But don’t expect to shoot one from the side of the road.

Thanks for info… any other info you can share? - Did you fill the freezer?
- Did you hike out every day or is this more of a backpack in and set up camp away from the roads?
- Any grizz run-ins?
