Who did you rebarrel with? Did you have to rebed?

Steve with Double Broomed. Yeah he rebedded it. I’ve heard people that will even re-bed after a cerakote job. There’s a 6.5 threaded on GB. I think that’s the way to go. I had a 308 threaded and it was awesome. Traded for 30-06 though which is probably my favorite. Those Hornady Superformance are 3080 fps, smoking for a 30-06

Thanks! I really wanna keep the 6mm caliber. I’ll consider rebarreling as an option.

Where does that get us? you can't get one that comes threaded like Barret's that will fit can you?

I don’t think that’s what he meant but you can thread it 1/2-28 and add a permanent/seamless 5/8-24 adapter with plenty of shoulder for direct thread. Like this.

That's exactly what I told them. They said to send my barrel to them so they could exactly match the profile. I believe that is everything but not positive about the chambering.

Karl Kampfield did that one, but there are a lot more folks out there who are doing it now. Shaen Rifles is another one that I know of that will do it and make it look great.
