These binos are as new. I bought them as a "backup" for when I thought I might not pack my EL Range binos... but I have not found a time I dont use the EL Range so these have sat in my safe the last two years and never left the house.
If you do your research and read alll the birder reviews from the real optics nuts, these are top rated glass, and most often preferred over the 8x42 and 10x42 conquest (don't suffer the blackout issue).
They fit perfectly with the size small FHF gear bino harness which is in Kryptek Highlander.
