WTT WTB/WTT Thompson Encore

Throwing it out there to the masses,

Been looking for an Encore frame for a while now in order to start my hobbit rifle build for my 2 girls. Due to current market conditions - have not had a lot of luck as I don't want to pay double MSRP.

I have a couple of G1 contenders ( I think they are both in the 150xxx serial range) and a variety of barrels/furniture available for a potential trade. Off the top of my head, have a 16." 45-70, both 10" and 21" 22lr barrels, super 14." .223, and a super 16 45lc/410.

would prefer stainless, but would consider any frame in good condition. Please PM , Thanks

I had the same issue. I went with a cva scout .243 pistol and pined and welded a muzzle break on to get the barrel over 16” then added a stock. It’s not crazy light because the barrel profile. But it shoots well.

That thing is sweet. Was just looking at a 6.5 cm pistol w/ a 14" barrel and it was advertized at 3.7 lbs. Do you have a weight on yours by chance?
