Looking to buy a winchester model 88 in .243 pre 64 must be in all around good condition.

I do not know of anyone who has one personally. You could look up Grices gun shop in PA and see if they do. Just a thought !

i just looked on gun broker, didnt see any. i see pre 64s in .308, and i see a 66 .243, but no pre 64 .243s weird that theyre so much harder to come by. they made about 110k .308s and 75k .243s, not that big of a gap.

oh nevermind i had to click on rifles now its showing me tons, before it was only showing me a few rifles but lots of parts.

okay they have ONE on there, but its in PA. that sucks. trying to find one i can check out in person, like in wa/ id/ or. dont exactly want to pay 1200 bucks for a 60 year old gun that i havent even seen in person.

That sounds awesome except now I'm headed to alaska until the end of the month. After that it's back to Washington for elk season so I'm sure it will have sold by then
