I just bought one at cabelas. They had some made for them by grand trunk. On sale for 29 right now with tree protector straps. I'm pretty impressed with mine for the price.

Can you post some pictures of the tree straps? I have a fox outfitters with tree straps but they are over engineered and heavy.

Whoopie Slings are THE ONLY WAY TO GO when hanging a hammock. Instant and minute adjustments make em a must have item. Sometimes a 1/2" makes all the difference in comfort. Other suspension systems are a very distant second.

I will ask my cousin he has the Clark Vertex and I have the NX-250. I have been interested in his and he is interesed in selling so might can figure something out. Both hammocks have been used less than 10-15 nights.

I have the following: Brand new (hasn't even been removed from stuff sack) Hennesy Expedition Asym zipper version ($180 new), one used once super shelter ($140 new) and one Silnylon overcover (extra addition to Super Shelter $36 new). All of this new is $356 plus $15 shipping, or $371. I will sell the package for $250 shipped and insured. If someone wants me to break up the package, let me know via pm and we can discuss that.

They are the standard grand trunk tree straps. I'm sure there are better systems out there. I was looking for decent quality at a good price point not necessarily top of the line. If you need additional pics more than the site has let me know.
