Looks like I'll be going solo this year so I'm looking for a good tent. I'm going with the two person so I'll have room for my backpack, and other items. Or if you know of any good deals out there I wold appreciate it. thanks.

If floorless is ok with you the Mountainsmith Mountain Shelter LT is hard to beat, especially if you already use trekking poles. Under 2 lbs with stakes and less than $100 new.

I have a Tarptent double rainbow. 2014 model with carbon arch pole upgrade, inner liner option, a tyvek ground sheet and 7 stakes including 5 of the original 6 it came with. Tent with arch pole, stakes, stuff sacks etc weighs 2.5lbs. It sets up very quickly, very roomy inside with the arch pole and crossover pole, and doesn’t require trekking poles. Has one tiny hole in the mesh that has been repaired and one of the vent stiffener pieces had poked through the ends but also repaired. Neither affect anything and overall it is in excellent condition. The beauty of Tarptents is they use 30d silnylon where most lightweight tents are using 7d-15d so they are pretty bomber. This was in the $350-$360 range plus shipping as optioned. SOLD
