Wrist Sling Spinning

I just got a Hoyt wrist sling for my bow that has a plastic piece that connects to the stabilizer mount. I am having trouble once I mount the stabilizer over the top of the sling connection piece spinning and loosening the stabilizer bracket. Ive tried rubber washers and wedge lock washers but nothing seems to work. Any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I'd put a small dab of clear silicone on it assemble and let dry seems to work well for me and not as tough as blue loctite to loosen if the need arises.
