Marketing at its finest. Once I see a video not published from someone that has skin in the game, then I’ll think it’s legit and not skewed in their favor. You can edit anything to favor your product. Not saying it’s impossible but to be the winner in almost everything, I need to see the whole picture to believe it.

Disclaimer-
This is my personal opinion.

Just wanted to say this as part of the Tenet Team

Prior to any video published, event coordinator, Joseph Ewing, was contacted and gave permission to post the video. Double verified we had green light. So it was scheduled by the marketing team to drop this morning 8am est.

In the video it very clearly states Tenet made the category of the total score of the following combined. All data directly pulled from the raw data, no manipulation. Simple addition. Of the 4 categories that “in our opinion” make the ultimate backcountry supressor.

Recoil, sound, length, and weight.

(All metrics measured, then combined)

After posting there was a very large amount of attention, unexpected amounts. Out of respect to the event coordinator (Joseph) and to Outdoor Life, we didn’t want to continue to “steal valor” that they put so much work into. So we were more than happy to temporarily make it private with intentions to launch it together once everyone is ready.

We are very excited for them to post the raw data. Wish we would have seen this here sooner to paint a clear picture!

-Sincerely

Weird web page. Show the freaking can if you're so proud of it. That shouldn't be a hard thing to figure out.

There are videos of their can in use on their instagram it appears (@tenetinc).. They are showing 121 DbA at shooters ear on a 26” 6.5 Creed with a fairly large muzzle brake on the end of the suppressor.. They talk about some patent pending design with best in class suppression and recoil.. it looks a bit long though.

Which Form demonstrated earlier this year, is what a dryfire is. Ie 121 db.

Why can’t new companies that are developing innovative products just be humble and let the products speak for themselves..? “Best shooting head that anyone has ever used” comes to mind, before it was even released.

Oh yeah, human nature.

All of this will be clearer as the launch team continues releasing information. In the mean time I would gladly answer any questions needed and can get more answers if I don’t know them from the team.

The model your referencing is called the Maxim series, longer and designed for Max supression but still 9oz. Offered in both 6.5 and 30 cal. The official sound results will be posted over the next few weeks using third party testing.

The other model is the Limited series. That’s the ultralight, ultra short, still quite model.

All models can be shot using a brake, or without. The numbers presented in the instagram would be referencing the Maxim series, without brake (unofficial results).

We are eager for the results to be posted and we understand the Scepticism.

Curious to see these cans. Innovation and more options are a good thing for everyone…
The team is very excited to show them! The team has been prototyping and developing this over the last 5 years. If you care to see the story of how this came to being a brand, feel free to check out the website.

And agree, if anyone wins in this fastly changing space, it’s the consumer!

Unsure if I’m allowed to attach the actual link to the site so I’ll refrain!

We’re all excited to see what you guys bring to market! Don’t worry about the haters on this thread that are tied to other suppressor companies.

If a company advertises something unrealistic then they probably won’t get taken very seriously. Kind of like when a company creates their own matrix for results to be very much in their favor.

The can in question, with “unrealistic” data presented. With direct permission from event holder, I can share its Officail Muzzle db score.

129.9db Z weighted Peak (unfiltered)

9oz Supressor

Yes it sounds unrealistic, but after 87 interations of prototypes, that’s where it ended up in Offical score.

Again, that is muzzle. From my understanding the difference is usually 10-14db quiter at shooters ear.
Our test rig dry fires 119 -120 depending on the day while gun is in same position realstive to shooters ear.

The metric referenced. Total score.

Combined - weight, length, recoil, and sound.

No custom score, just simple addition of all 4 metrics tested at the competition.

“In our opinion”

The lightest, shortest, quitest and most recoil reduction. Supressor setup, Would be the best option for the task. Not just one individual category score being great.

Appreciate that! Greatly!

After 5 years of work, we just hope we can make a positive impact on our consumers succes, both in the hunt and competitions.

Thanks for taking the time to answer. I absolutely try to bite my tongue and deleted that comment because I guess time will tell as they’re tested more by additional 3rd party people on how the numbers and claims hold up.

I do appreciate and respect anybody who can set the bar higher in this competitive market. Not a hater, I have no problem rooting other good honest people on.
