Would you buy this scope?

I'm struggling here, what am I missing?

While the s2h scope lists ocular and objective OD (46.5 & 52mm) I'm struggling to figure out because tenebraex website lists by scope make & model rather than providing dimensions and there's a mishmash of clamping around the ocular/objective vs threading in...

All of zerotechs other scopes (within the trace line at least) with covers don't list tenebraex part no's they just come as a set with the scope... I also don't see zero tech as a listed brand on tenebraex website...
Maybe tag @ZeroTech Optics and they can tell us what model has the same measurements.

Try this contact information in regards to Tenebraex covers. Maybe they can help.

I was able to get a scope ordered yesterday with the THLR reticle. It will be my first FFP scope and I’m excited to try it.

Are there any updates on a potential 2-8x36? That would fit my needs better than the current release.

Theres a potential 2-8 as well? Oh my, with that and a 3-18 i would be set for life.
Since s2h used a 6x for this scope one could imagine that it is likely 6x will be used again. And if so i'm really keeping my fingers crossed for a 1,5-9 instead. It's a really attractive zoom range for the woodlands hunting i usually do in the fall.

Agree, been looking for something like that for a BAR safari that needs a scope upgrade

I don’t quite understand that exchange rate as $999.99 USD is $1368.37 CAD. The ZeroTech Canada website has it listed at $1739.00 CAD. Could be taxes in? Might be better for us Canadians to order through UM.
That’s before taxes from what I can see. Seemed a little odd since most of their other stuff seems to be more in sync with a straight conversion. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Tarriffs and/or duties? That was my assumption at any rate on the price point difference.
ZT is Australian and the scope is manufactured by LOW in Japan. If anything, tariffs should mean that it costs more in the US. The S2H price is USD 999 (~CAD 1370), the ZTCanada website has the pre-order price at CAD 1739.

It was said that ZT would also be selling the scope internationally, but I don't think it was ever clarified that they would be doing so for the same slim margin as S2H was selling it for in the states.

It turns out that this is essentially the answer.

There was some early discussion about S2H doing export paperwork for Canadians to order directly from S2H. Is this still possible?

The unfortunate truth is... Tenebraex is impossibly difficult to work with. We have asked to be listed and asked for part numbers dozens of times. We even have a few numbers and they don't lead to existing products on their website. We have exhausted this route with them, but you roksliders have a voice. HENCE this whole scope coming into existence. Maybe if a bunch of you were to call in or email...
