Considering im looking at either a Tenmile or a NX8, im now interested in this. Due to the cost. But wont be able to view the scope for a few weeks until UM has one in their store. So no way I am willing to do a pre-order yet, lol.

It kicks the shit out of the Tenmile and is a near peer of the NX8, at much lower cost. I’ve handled a bunch and compared head to head with an NX8 I brought.

I think there’s no downside to ordering. They’re not going to be able to fill every order in the initial batch. You’ll be able to flip it if you don’t like it.

I stopped by Unkown Munitions booth on Friday and was told 9 AM PST, tomorrow morning for preorder. I was kind of surprised the guy was that specific.

Did they indicate whether it was a full payment pre-order or a non-refundable down payment? 7ish months is a long time to sit on the full $1k, even though I understand why

just seems weird for Jake to do a story yesterday on the UM instagram of their podcast setup saying stay tuned for our next s2h podcast where we tell you everything about our new scope and how to get it but then instead do a special preorder drop before releasing the podcast? Unless they drop the podcast tonight or tomorrow or it;s only a super special western hunt expo secret? or they log on here at 9pst with a link saying orders open? I'd think they want as many preorders as possible for this project since they are going through an OEM but what do I know? I'll be locking myself in my bedroom and ignoring my family tomorrow morning regardless

I guess it all depends on when you might want one, if you don’t “need” one than sure, wait until next year. Some of us are “trusting the process” that the bugs are more or less not there given what Form has seen/done. Of course there will be the anomaly along the way…that’s true for anything and everything. Again, trusting UM will make it right as they have stated a few times already.
