Would you buy this scope?

The form factor and resemblance of the master sporter and the rokstok lite is uncanny. I knew the rokstok was based off the master sporter in theory but never realized how similar the lines are until the photo. This is gold.
I wish they would have said screw the wrong handed people and given us the MS grip. The RS is great, but the MS grip just makes me happy.

What makes it better than say the NF PTL or Trijicon’s similar? Just curious about it.

It’s a combo of the power ring itself; short throw from 3-18x, and the two locations for the stud- with a lot of cattails/studs and 90° bolt throws (or less), they are in a position at one end or the other to chew your fingers/knuckles up when racking the bolt. With the S2H scope, it’s swappable for right or left handers, and it is out of the way of your hands.

Watch it ... or we'll get the left-handed Rokslide meme gang onto you ...

But yeah, I do like an offset grip as well ... was the main thing I liked about the GRS Bifrost until Form showed me how that stock's butt was below the bore axis.

For whatever it’s worth for the guys discussing the Master Sporter stock…..

I keep a gunbroker search running for M595s.

Got an email with a hit for it this morning. Obviously not mine, I have nothing to do with it. Just saying if you want one…..

When they were being made there weren't really any mil shooters. ;)

I stayed mad at Tikka for decades when they dropped the 595/695 in favor of a single action length. I'm over it now but I still keep my eye out for a 595. I'd love to have a 'whitetail' model for a treestand deer gun. I never had a MS model but a man I knew and sometimes shot with, did. I did have a 658 deluxe model, though, and that was about the prettiest wood-stocked hunting rifle ever made. Wish I'd kept it.

Such a short clip, what’s the context/meaning? Were they discussing scopes?
They were discussing Glock Gen 6? From what I gathered from the full podcast. Skimmed through til I found it.

Edit: not Glocks, optics plates for pistols I believe. I'm Canadian and know absolutely nothing about pistols.

I missed my opportunity to get behind one but of all the controversy over everything shooting related I have NEVER heard anyone that has handled one have anything negative to say and they ALL are looking for one. There is something to that.

I had a Sako M995 chambered in a 7.82 warbird many moons ago and then sold it off for cheap like a dummy after a couple of seasons of hunting. Didn’t know what I had just in the action alone back then. 😞

There's a 308 M595 with the Master Sporter stock for sale in Portland right now. I see them pop up on various sites from time to time.

Edit: the seller isn’t willing to ship otherwise I would have already bought it. If anyone is local to Portland and wants the listing, PM me.
