Personally, I immensely dislike the Eagleman reticle and would prefer their Milrad reticle if I bought a Tract.Personally I love the Eagleman reticle.

Really depends on if he was estimating that based off the MSRP of $2,400 or street price. Euro Optic has them at $1,540 at the moment. Even if it just matched that street price, it would be a great option.Looks like this still means around the $1,000 price point for an estimation
Thank you for the insights and a direct answer to my questions. Looking forward to the finished product. Sounds like a perfect scope for my 25 Ackley. I just need it before May of '27!!It’s not the same internals- even a turret type change effects durability and reliability.
Because they don’t demand it. They don’t demand it, becaus they don’t understand it or care. Very few companies give a rip at all about reliability and durability.
Every once in a while a company will get a scope that works, because they get lucky or because they use the same base model as another. But, there are only a couple companies that put reliability and durability at the top- with a written requirement for it.
The erector being used is “new”, and this scope is supposedly the first that will have it.
Schott China's website.I'm just repeating what Frank Galli has said multiple times on The Everyday Sniper.
Schott's website lists glass production in China on their website: https://www.schott.com/en-us/about-...ocations?tab=b63f2f47a3944b85b524b5c8d5d27a28
I'm not personally concerned much either way, but if Frank is incorrect, I'd be interested if you could share your source for this.
I guess its a good thing the world is full of choices.Personally, I immensely dislike the Eagleman reticle and would prefer their Milrad reticle if I bought a Tract.
Exactly.I guess its a good thing the world is full of choices.
Pushing boundaries- No.
Things that should have been done from the start- Yes.
What should separate it from the Tenmile-
- as reliable or more
- shorter
- lighter
- low profile 10 mil elevation turret, capped windage
- larger eyebox
- better glass
- better FOV
- better reticle
- better low light illumination
- $600 to $700 less
Im all in for a 3-18. I feel the covers 99% of my needs for any gun. Have you guys considered a dual reticle system? I am not a scope expert but I've seen some scopes with this and i believe it solves the ffp low power issue but not sure what it does to price. When will this be on the market? Can I invest lol. You guys are printing money at this point how do I buy shares lol.
What reticle did y’all decide on?Pushing boundaries- No.

Because a 3-12 sub 20oz scope made as we wanted was a ground up 2-3 year project and a pretty large upfront cost. Tough to do first when an option was available that would get a whole lot right that we didn’t like about what is currently on the market.
The 3-18x scopes in the market weren’t doing anything we wanted- however, something new was offered so that was chosen.
The amount of people that want to buy a 3-12x is significantly less than those who will buy a 3-18x done right. Ryan and I both want the scope that was originally posted about. However, it’s a long term deal. If these scopes (which we also wanted) do well, then there will be more coming in the future.
