Would you buy this scope?

Well, it's not any of the current proven scope providers at that price + LOW. So the early buyers are going to have to go on faith in ryan and form regardless.

my guesses:
1. huskemaw
2. element
3. leatherwood
4. swamp fox
5. primary arms

it would be kind of cool if they revived an old brand though, like Dr. Optik or Unertl.

Wonder if it’s Zero Tech. They mentioned they were a fan of their 15x56 binos, and they have a FFP scope in that 26oz range that has a common LOW looking shell.

My interpretation was they would receive the first samples for testing in May.
That's possible; I haven't re-listened to it. But if you gave some to a handful of trustworthy people, it wouldn't take long to have multiple drop evals, thousands of rounds, and hundreds of forest miles on multiple samples ...

I don’t believe that is what was said. They said the company was not publicly known yet. As in, they simply have not announced the company yet. My interpretation anyway.
Or both. And, some brands of scopes are brought to market by companies that sit behind the brand that no-one has heard of. Just sayin' ... not that any of us here actually know, right @NSI? ;)

Any prize for guessing the middle man correctly?!

HORUS is my guess.

They'd be a good fit - they share resources with Nightforce and are located in Idaho.
I learn something new every day. I had no idea HORUS made/imports a scope. I only knew of their name because of those over-busy, grid-style reticles I can only assume were developed for artillery spotters (I'm obviously being a bit facetious). Their current scope is a 5-25x50, made in Japan, with MSRP of $1500. Has it passed the "drop test"?

ETA: Further internet reading informs me HORUS is owned by NF's parent company, The Lightforce Group.
